Style a Hot Top Knot Like Hilary Duff's! - Evisu,true religion wholesale

I loved the chic, modern up-do Hilary Duff sported on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet. It's perfect for a big night out during the summer, but also can be quickly fashioned with second day hair, if you need to add polish in a pinch. Duff's hairstylist, Marcus Francis, told UsMagazine.com exactly how he created the look.

Starting with damp hair, Francis prepped locks with volumizing spray at the roots and styling lotion throughout,Evisu, from the mid-shaft down to ends. Then, he roughly blow-dried hair until it was 90% dry and finished drying with a large round brush, concentrating at the roots to smooth and lift locks. Once the hair was dry, Francis sectioned off a piece of hair at the crown, then used a grooming brush to smooth the remainder of Duff's hair into a high ponytail, then twisted and looped the ponytail into a bun, leaving the ends out (just like you would for a day at the beach!).

To give the top knot red carpet flair, he braided the remaining section of hair and wrapped it around the bun to create texture and interest, then pinned in back. Francis finished by setting the look with a spritz of hairspray.
